I attended Temple University with Chris. He and I were graduate assistants at the Orthopedic offices in Marlton, NJ. I lost touch with Chris after graduation, but I always had a lot of respect for him. He helped me learn "the ropes" my first year at Temple. My condolences as he always made things fun. RIP "Big Cat"

Catawba lost one of it's finest alumni. Chris represented the success story of the Catawba College Athletic Training Program. I will miss his smile and his friendship.
My heart goes out to Kim and the boys - thankfully Chris is no longer in pain. My God give you peace, fond memories and comfort in this time of sorrow.

Kim,
My deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with Cat for 3 years at Globus and had the pleasure of being his manager temporarily. He and Brad had been working with me as distributors for the past 6 months. No one should ever leave this earth so young and especially someone SO full of life like Chris. I've met very few people in my life that have the spark that Chris had. He was genuinely interested in meeting and getting to know new people and he always made new acquaintances feel like an old friend. His wit and humor are legendary and you couldn't help but come away from time with Chris without your cheeks hurting from laughing or smiling.
You and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers and I'm sorry that I couldn't be there today to honor Cat.

I'm at a loss for words. So unfair, truly a huge heart and one of the kindest people I know. He was always smiling, laughing. I will never forget how all he wanted to do was help people feel better. I will remember Chris and I will try to be more like him everyday I get to be here. Much love to you and yours. May you find some peace in all of this.

My deepest sympathy. Those of us who were lucky enough to know Cat and to have him in our lives are hurting also. I hope that knowing that Cat was so loved by so many helps in some way. Whatever time each of us had with Cat will live in all our hearts and his smile and laugh will be with us forever. I don't have the proper words to express my love for Cat, but those who knew him know exactly what I mean. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,

I am so sorry to hear about Chris passing away. He was a good friend. I played baseball with him at Clearview and graduated with him. I always loved being around him and we had great memories playing baseball together. I am praying for you and your family during this dark time. I also became a pastor which I am sure would have been a surprise to Chris but if there is anything I can do like counseling or anything, please let me know. In John 14 Jesus said, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."
Sincerely,
Jim Donohue

Dear Kim and Family,
I was heartbroken to hear the news about Chris. He was truly a joy to be around and he made me laugh at every turn. He was always thinking of others and that included me. When he found out that I knew nothing about ice hockey, he took me to a game and patiently explained the rules to me. He also played his trumpet for the crowd and we just had a ball! "Felix" (as we knew him back in the day, 1988-1992 at Catawba) was a special person and no doubt will be missed by all those he touched during his brief time on this planet. My sincere condolences.

I will always remember Chris for making me laugh. We both graduated Clearview in 1988 and went on to Catawba college. It was so nice to have a home town friend in college. He started dating a beautiful girl named Kim and he was head over heels in love with her! I transferred to a different school my junior year and we lost touch. I heard thru the grapevine that he had married Kim and was successful in all things he did. My heart goes out to Kim and their boys during this time. Chris was a great, kind soul with a fantastic personality and will be missed by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing him.
