Robert Lawrence Stouffer

Robert Lawrence Stouffer was called home to be with the Lord July 8th 2022. Born on April 22,1927 in Streator, Illinois to the late Reba and Ernest Stouffer.

He was raised in Champaign Ill and graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

He Married Shirley McClelland of Ocean Grove, NJ in 1952 and raised two children Thomas and James.

He retired from Jersey Central Power and Light in 1989 after a long career ending as a District Superintendent in Hightstown NJ. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time at the beach, golfing, traveling, reading the bible and spoiling his grandchildren.

He is Survived by his son Thomas and his wife Karen and two grandchildren Christine and Matthew. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Shirley and his son James.

Funeral Services and Interment  will be private and at the convenience of his family.
