Obituary of Linda C. Kelley

 Linda C. Kelley (née Gallerano), age 94, a resident at Eagle Crest Retirement Village of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at Grand Strand Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Born in Nutley, NJ, Linda was a first generation American Citizen from Italian descent. Linda and her family were original homeowners in Willingboro (Levittown), NJ since 1958 until 2015.

 She retired after 35 years of service with the Willingboro School District. During this time, she was an active member/shop steward for the NJEA and a Girl Scout leader. Linda and her husband, Al were members of the original Willingboro Friendship Guild.

  Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Albert M. Kelley, Jr., her parents, Anthony and Grace (Calicchio) Gallerano, her brother, Pascal Gallerano and sister Dora Newman and her husband, Charles. Linda leaves behind her loving family, daughter, Deborah Jeffers of Mt. Laurel, NJ, her son, Albert M. Kelley, III and daughter- in-law Cathy Kelley, of Surfside Beach, SC. She has 3 grandchildren, Dustin Jeffers (Kaleigh) of Boca Rabon, FL., Ashley Mele (Greg) of Charlotte, NC and AJ Kirschner (Dana) of Williamsport, PA and one great grandchild, Barrett Kelly Jeffers. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marta Gallerano of Verona, NJ, nephews, Gregory and Anthony (Vicki) Gallerano and Patrice (Michael) Turkmen, and many great nieces and nephews.

  Linda lived a long, happy and healthy life. She was very artistic. She loved drawing and all arts and crafts, reading and basking in the sun.

 Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 18,2017, 11am at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church,11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro,NJ. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning, 9:30am to 10:30am at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy, Willingboro,NJ. Entombment : Odd Fellows Cemetery Mausoleum,Burlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Linda requested donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in her name.
