Obituary of Deirdre Ann Gallagher

“Deirdre Ann Gallagher (McWilliams) passed away at her home in Burlington, NJ on November 25, 2023. She was 60 years old.

Deirdre was born and raised in Willingboro, NJ and the sixth of eight children. She was a graduate of Rutgers University with a double major in Computer Science and Statistics. She worked for the same company for over 35 years as a software developer. 

Deirdre was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be incredibly missed by all. She cared deeply for her children, her family, and her lifelong friends. She was selfless and kind, always looking for a way to help others.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, Charles Gallagher Jr, as well as her parents Mary Agnes McWilliams (Newman) and Michael McWilliams, and siblings Marie Mackenzie (McWilliams), Timothy and Michael McWilliams.

She is survived by her three children Caley, Brenna and Seamus Gallagher; her brothers Patrick, Terence and Christopher McWilliams and sister Megan Talebzadeh (McWilliams), and many other relatives and friends.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 6th 2023 at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Rd, Willingboro NJ. Visitation will begin at 10 am at the church. Relatives and friends please gather directly at church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.”
