Luanne Funari

Luanne Funari, of Mullica Hill, age 63, died peacefully in her home on 11/17/2023 surrounded by her family. She fought a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Born in Gibbstown, by her late father, Frank A. Funari, and mother, Louise A (Gelsomino) Cunningham. She is survived by her loving partner Ed Remster and their dog, "Mr. Luck", Lucky. Her siblings include her sisters Linda (Funari) and John Donahue, Lori (Funari)Lewandowski, Terry Cunningham and Frank Funari. She leaves behind 4 nieces and 6 nephews and countless friends and business associates.

Luanne had a wonderful zest for life and an infectious positive personality that rubbed off on those around her. She enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry and she retired as a Senior Vice President, Claims Advocacy Services from AJG Insurance Services in 2021.

She had an incredible passion for the game of golf and was competitive on and off the golf course. Luanne won numerous club championships and enjoyed the friendships the sport offered her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26,2023, 4PM-7PM at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway (formerly : Levitt Parkway), Willingboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations made in Luanne's honor to be directed to either :The SJ Animal Rescue or The Cooper Foundation.
