Obituary of James L. Dunn

James L Dunn, 77, of Edgewater Park, NJ passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jim had touched in some way throughout his life.

Jim grew up in Woodlyn, NJ and attended St. Joseph's High School in Camden, NJ. Jim enlisted in the United States Navy and served aboard The USS Beale during the Vietnam War. After returning home, Jim began his long career at CSC in 1971 and worked for Lockheed Martin/AGEIS/CSEDS in Moorestown, NJ for fifty-one years. He also worked at The Philadelphia Spectrum, and he loved to be there when the Sixers played.

Jim enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working around the yard and taking pictures at all the parties. Jim was the "life of the party", and his laughter was "contagious." Jim will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Jim was predeceased by his father and mother, Vernon and Catherine (Smith) Dunn, and his sister, Maryann Coleman of Anchorage Alaska.

Jim is survived by JoAnn, his loving wife of 52 years, his son Joe and his fiancé, Kimberly Cannon of Mount Laurel, NJ, his grandson Zachery Dunn and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. Jim loved flowers and he would love to be surrounded by them while we all celebrated his life.

A Celebration of Jim's life will be held May 3, 2023, between the hours of 9:00-10:00 am at Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway, Willingboro, NJ 08046 followed by Mass 10:30am at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 11 S Sunset Rd, Willingboro, NJ 08046. Entombment will be at Lakview Memorial Park, 1300 N Rt 130, Cinnaminson, NJ at 1145 hours.
