Obituary of Marion E. Hudspeth

Marion E. Hudspeth of Willingboro passed away on May 3, 2022.

She retired from Burlington County Memorial Hospital (Virtua) in 1999. She worked in the Coronary Care Unit for many years.

She was known as the cake lady because she loved making birthday cakes for her friends. She loved lighthouses and made numerous trips to anywhere that had a lighthouse. She was a member of the New Jersey Lighthouse Society.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert A. Hudspeth Sr. and her beloved daughter Joyce E. Abbott. She is survived by her daughter Mary B. Dunnagan (Dave), son Robert A. Hudspeth Jr (Marie) and her amazing son-in-law Dennis Abbott. She has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 10:30am at the Corpus Christi R.C. Catholic , 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro,NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewung Tuesday morning 9am - 10am at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro,NJ. Interment: Brig.Gen.Wm.C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown,NJ. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Samaritan Hospice Center Mount Holly 175 Madison Ave. Mount Holly, NJ 08060.
