William Lay

William (Bill) Lay was born January 1st in 1933. He passed February 12, 2022 at 89 years old.

He grew up in Collingswood, NJ. Moved to Philadelphia as an adult and spent most of his adult life there. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a very caring person. He still had his sense of humor even when struggling with dementia.

He loved spending time in Stone Harbor with his friends. He enjoyed traveling in England. Bill liked his dachshunds, reading, and crossword puzzles. He served in the Army in the Korean War and was a bookkeeper.

He is predeceased by his brother Ralph, his mother and father, Evelyn and Ralph Lay, his good friend John (Jack) Page. He is survived by his sister Judith Harper and nieces Kathleen Harper and DebbieSmith and nephews Mark Lay and Miles Lay.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of his family.
