1936-2022

 

Lieselotte S. Greene, 85 of Willingboro, NJ passed away on January 14, 2022. Lieselotte was born July 15, 1936, to Bertha and Otto Schmidt in Frankfurt, Germany.

Lieselotte started her career as a dental assistant after graduating technical school in Germany and later transitioned to become a special education paraprofessional a profession very dear to her heart, she so loved working with children. She was a member of the National Education Association (NEA) until her passing.

In 1954, she met the love of her life Darnell Greene, and they wed in 1956 going on to have four children Darnell, Ricarda, Andre, and Tania.

When Lieselotte had her first child, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother. Lieselotte excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of our family, through and through. She was a gift-giver, always knew the right thing to say, never missed a special date, and was unselfishly supportive of all her children through their life's journeys.

Lieselotte was passionate about worthy causes, veterans, the homeless, and the less fortunate. Her heart was "big as the moon" ... She enjoyed travel, reading, and was very interested in current events, different cultures, and world politics.

Lieselotte was predeceased by her parents Bertha and Otto, her husband Darnell Greene, sister Hannalore, son Andre and daughter Tania and nephew  Francis Sprout. She is survived by her children, Darnell F. Greene, daughter-in-law Maria, and devoted daughter Ricarda Greene Brooks, Mark Brooks as well as grandchildren, Julian, Brent, Ariana, Jordan, Erin, and Andre, great-grandchildren, Amias, Jaelyn, Jianna, Meliana and nieces Bernadette and Jenifer Greene.
