James Epifano, Sr.

2/26/1933 – 12/12/2021

James "Pop" Epifano Sr, 88, of Willingboro NJ, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Married and survived by the love of his life of 62 years, Margaret Epifano (Trainer) as well his three daughters, Theresa Lodge (Peter), Tina Scholer (Frank), and Renee. He was preceded in death by his two sons, James Jr. and Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren Peter (PJ) Lodge, Michael Lodge (Amanda), Keith Scholer (Colleen), Tammy Lodge, Ashley Epifano (Wendy), Brittany Montone (Michael), Shane Hall (Anastasia); great grandchildren Emma Lodge,Mila Montone, Olivia Lodge, Camerine, Ronnie, and many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by his mother Emma Blasberg, father Frank Epifano, and five brothers and two sisters.

James served in the United States Army for two years (Korean War). He was the proud owner of The Epifano's Dry Cleaners in Willingboro. He served as an Usher at Corpus Christi Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Past Grand Knight), bowled every Friday night in the Corpus Christi Men's Bowling League, loved being a seasonal camper at Baker's Acres Campground, volunteered as Santa Claus for nursing homes and charity organizations, and also loved dressing up as Santa for family and friends. If you were in James' presence, he was always dressed in Flyers or Eagles attire to show support for his two favorite Philly sports teams.

Pop had an immense passion for singing karaoke with family and friends. If you ever had a chance to hear his voice, you would be brought to tears with a smile on your face at the same time. If you had your eyes closed, you may think you were listening to Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra live. Pop was a fun-loving man who enjoyed being around his friends and especially family. He will be missed and forever in our hearts.
