Ernestine Daugherty (Ybarra) (Ernie to her friends and loved ones) of Willingboro NJ went home to the Lord on July 10th 2021.

Ernie was born in Edinburg Texas to Pantaleon Belmares Ybarra and Cesaria Ybarra (De La Rosa) on May 19th 1940.

Ernie followed two of her sisters into the service of the Lord at the age of 15. She was the epitome of Maria in Sound of Music. After serving God in the Sisters of the Company of Mary for 15 years, she returned to secular life in 1971. In 1973 she married Clark Daugherty with whom she had two sons who were her pride and Joy. She Loved the Lord, Family, children, and music.

Ernie is survived by her Husband, Clark Daugherty of Willingboro, NJ and by her Sons Sean (Dawn), and the apple of her eye Granddaughter Maeve of Cherry Hill, NJ, Eric (Margaret) of Deptford, NJ, 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Samaritan Hospice Care Staff who were so kind and gentle with her in her final days.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 16,2021, 10am at the Goes – Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro, NJ. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning 9am – 10am at the funeral home. Interment: Jesus Bread of Life Catholic Cemetery, Mt. Laurel, NJ.
