Obituary of Robert J. Stewart

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Robert J. Stewart

Beloved husband and father, Robert, passed away on Sunday May 9th, 2021. The first born of Jack and Helen, he was the oldest of seven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by wife, Jill. Older son, Paul and wife Nadia, Younger son, Marcus and his fiancee, Ashley. Grandkids, Jared, Siree, Sanea, and Caden. As well as his remaining siblings, Eileen, Mary, Sharon,Margaret, John, and Dennis.

He was a traveler, teacher, author, and poet. He lived much of his life the way it should be experienced. Visiting, and sometimes living, in far-flung places. Meeting interesting strangers and turning them into lifelong family and friends.

Doing his part to cultivate and sustain the earth with the greenest of thumbs. Instilling younger generations with crucial and fundamental knowledge. And always doing what he could to keep up with the changes of the world around him.

He was a human google before Google existed. Smart as a whip, he had a heck of a laugh, and was a man of eclectic interests.

He loved Lord of the Rings as much as any history book, and would read them all while jazz or reggae played in the background.

His journey here may have ended, but now he's on another, better path.
