Eddie Junior Jacobs

1945-2021

Eddie Junior Jacobs passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 75.

Eddie Jacobs also nicknamed "Old Man" and "Jake" was born on July 30, 1945 and raised in Rich Square, NC. He later moved north where he found the place he would call his home, Willingboro, NJ.

He was a chef with the Marriott Hotel for 25 years were he loved to make specialty cakes and all types of sweets. For those who knew him, he was often found eating his favorite sweets himself: Boston Cream Donuts, Coconut Cakes and Oatmeal Pies on any given day.

After a career as a chef, he became a long distance truck driver which led him to some of the things he enjoyed the most: the open road, nature, traveling the 50 states, his big rig and his beloved dog Baby Girl.

His favorite pastime included boating, fishing, bowling, watching the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. He was fortunate enough to see the Phillies win their home opening game of this season.

He is survived by his family and friends who will share their final goodbyes at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlignton, NJ, on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.
