Eiko Murakami-McCabe

Eiko Murakami-Mccabe of Willingboro New Jersey passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021 in her home of 50 years surrounded by family and loved ones. Eiko was 87.

Eiko's husband Marvin Mccabe passed March, 2nd 2010; they shared a love and understanding to be admired. Eiko is survived by her 5 children & their spouses; Son Jerry & Mary McCabe of Prescott AZ; Son Dennis & Anna-Marie McCabe of Burlington NJ; Daughter Linda Mccabe of WIllingboro NJ; Son Terry & Tara Mccabe Florissant CO; Daughter Elizabeth & Richard Hoch of Burlington NJ. Eiko and Marvin are also survived by 5 loving grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Eiko was born in Hokkaido, Japan on April 6, 1933. She met Marvin during his time serving in the U.S. Army stationed in Tokyo Japan. Eiko and Marvin wed on July 17, 1956, and soon followed her immigration to the states to become a U.S. Citizen. As a military wife Eiko and Marvin traveled the country until settling in Willingboro NJ in 1972. Eiko was a humorous & stylish character by nature. She was an artist whose skills varied but was known for her traditional japanese performances. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping and caring for her grandchildren in their younger years. Eiko was a proud, caring, and compassionate person who was also an avid animal lover.

Memorial viewing will be held from 10am-11am Monday March 15th, 2021 at Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro, NJ, 08046. (609)871-1000. Interment : will be private and at the convenience of her family.
