Obituary of Rosalind McCloud

Rosalind "Pinky" (Killian) McCloud, slipped away with one of God's angels on Thursday, November 26th 2020. She was born on August 26th, 1950 in New York City to the late Madeline Elizabeth (Wooden) Killian of Richmond, VA and Rossie Lee Killian of Hickory, NC. Also preceding her death is her loving husband Alvin C. McCloud Sr. Rosalind who is affectionately known as Pinky, was the seventh child out of nine, and the only one born with natural red hair and a face full of freckles. She had a great sense of style and graduated from The High School of Fashion Industries, in NYC. Pinky married Alvin C. McCloud in 1969, their union was blessed with two beautiful children, Alvin Clay McCloud Jr. and Juwrene Temple. Al and Pinky would soon relocate their family from The Bronx, NY to Bensalem, PA and later to Willingboro, NJ. Pinky was a dedicated worker and she commuted to NYC daily; employed by Verizon for 27 years where she was well liked by all. Pinky retired from Verizon in July of 1998, at the age of 47. Pinky will be remembered as a self-assured social butterfly who always loved fashion. "To know her was to love her". Loving memories will be cherished by her devoted son Alvin Clay McCloud Jr., loving daughter; Juwrene Temple McCloud-Brown, son-in-law; Edmond Brown, several sisters; Shirley Hudson, Elaine Taylor, Virginia Turner, Cynthia Dixon and Michelle Killian. Also a host of nieces and nephews, friends, relatives and a close family friend Fredricka (Birkette) Evans and also a caring family friend Kimell "Kim" Young, from Camden NJ. Funeral Services and Interment be private and at the convenience of her family.
