Grandpop was always very patient and kind to me.
During my Junior High days he took me to wrestling practice. I wasn't very good at wrestling especially at that time but I always had him as my biggest fan. Sharing after practice McDonald's milkshakes with him was a highlight that I will never forget.
For a few months in high school he used to drive me to and from school every day. We listened to cassette tapes of Johnny Cash in his car and then afterwards we watched Gun Smoke together. It was nice having a place that I felt always wanted. I never caught on to the country classics but I still watch Gun Smoke fondly thinking of my time with Grandpop.

Cheers to a life that exemplified the attributes of silent strength and hard work. During cold nights of surf torture and long hours in the law library I thought about how hard my Grandfather worked the majority of his life to support nine children. During my two Hell Weeks I would have died before putting our families name under the bell. Salute to the original Bill Brown. I carry his and my Father's name with the greatest honor.

I remember an amazing man who always smiled and laughed. Plus as a kid he always let us play in his front yard without any complaints. He (as well as Mrs Brown) seemed to love all of the kids.
