Obituary of Veeda C. Spell

Veeda C. Spell, 73, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 18, 2019 in Burlington, NJ.

Veeda C. Spell was born in Philadelphia to Lawrence and Dorothy Curry on November 29, 1945. She worked in maintenance for the United States Post Office for 15 years. She was a spiritual woman who loved the Lord and a long-time member Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She enjoyed electronics, putting things together, gardening, cooking, going to the casino, traveling and spending time with family.

Veeda C. Spell is survived by her daughters Yalonda Spell of the home, Lisa Zachary (husband Tom) and Dorothea Wynter (husband Christopher) of New Jersey, step-daughters Valerie Scarborough (Jeff), North Carolina and Mary-Ann Phillips, Alabama. Her grandchildren Marriah Hannah, Christopher Hannah, Nisa Wynter, Alisa Hannah, Maya Wynter, and Nadia Wynter. She is preceded in death by her husband John Spell Jr.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10:30am at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ. Relatives and friends may call Saturday Morning 9:30am - 10:30am at the church. Interment : Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
