Obituary of Dr. John Z. Delp

  Dr. John Zehner Delp passed away Sunday, Oct. 28th, 2018, at his Willingboro home, a week after his 88th birthday.

 John graduated from Temple University Medical School, served two years in the U.S. Army, and completed a residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia. He then started a pediatric practice in Willingboro which later moved to Burlington Township and still later became a part of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He retired in 2000.

 John loved the Lord and the Bible and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Willingboro since 1960.

 Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Joyce (nee: Phillips) Delp and his children : Lisa Dolan (Dr.John Mark) of Pittsburgh; Amy Todorovich (Mark) of San Diego; Laurie Phillips (Dr. Gordon) of Santo Antonio do Ica Brazil; Melinda (Patrick) of LaMirada, Ca; and David Delp (Aiko) of Brooklyn. Also, grandchildren : Dr. Katie McHolm (Caird), Heather and Ian Dolan; Reed Phillips (Joy); Caleb Phillips ( Emily); Alison Lang ( Alan); Susanna and Julie Phillips; Megan, Evan, Erin, Michelle and Carolyn Klansek.

 A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, 11am at the First Baptist Church, 216 Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ. Relatives and friends may call 9am – 11am at the church. Interment : will be private and at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers: Gifts to First Baptist Church in his memory will be welcome.
