 CMSGT Charles E. Chavis, US Air Force Retired, of Willingboro, NJ died Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania , Philadelphia. He was 77.

 Born and raised in Ft. Pierce, Florida. He retired from the US Air Force after twenty six and a half years of service. He was formerly employed as the owner of CC'S Electrical Contracting, Willingboro,NJ, and as the electrican for the Willingboro Board of Education, Willingboro,NJ. He enjoyed playing sudoku, western movies, gardening and walking his dog.

 Father of the Late : Mara Chavis Cheatman. He is survived by his Beloved Wife of Fifty One Years : Ruby M. (nee: Lavenger), Three Children : Rena Grimes, Latisha Chavis, Charles E. Chavis III, Three grandchildren : Karena, Isaiah, Gabrel, One Brother : Anglish Lewis, Two Sisters : Fannie Darden and Charlie Mae Lamb, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life for Charles E. Chavis will be held on June 8, 2018, at 2pm at the VFW, 28 Creekview Road,Willingboro,NJ.
