Obituary of Todd White, Jr.

Please share a memory of Todd to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Walter Todd White (Todd) of Westampton, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23,2023 in Mount Holly, NJ. He was 79 years old.

Todd was born on June 4, 1944, in Wilmington, DE, the first of four children born to Walter and Nannette (nee Burkhard) White.

He enjoyed an ideal childhood with his family and friends exploring the woods, the creek, mastering the rope swing, building model cars, and caring for an impressive collection of tropical fish. He graduated in 1962 from Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington. He attended the University of Delaware for one year and graduated from Elon University (formerly college) in 1971. Following graduation, Todd used his artistic talent to serve as a graphic designer for many businesses including Woolco, Wilmington Dry Goods, and TAPCO.

Todd was a kind, cat loving, artistic and unique man. He adopted too many cats to count and loved each one. His cats always seemed to find him. He loved his TR-6, motorcycling, and guitars. Model trains were his hobby, and recently he created several cigar box guitars. He enjoyed watching the old game shows and reruns of The Big Bang Theory. Whenever there was a party, wedding or get together, Todd was taking videos to document experiences and memories. He enjoyed vacations. Some of his favorites were to Disney World, Alaska, Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore and Colorado.

Friends captured Todd's essential character beautifully.

"Todd was such a kind man who embraced life in a unique and wonderful way."

"I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. How many people can one say that about?"

That was Todd.

Todd is survived by his loving wife Jackie; brother Bruce White, sisters Carol Depew (Robert), and Ellen Forbes (George). He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Denise Cowan (Chuck), Susan Hubickey (John), Jessica Abbott (Scott), Mark Depew (Rebecca), and Jenna Douglas-Fowler (Austin), Matthew Dooling (Christina), Zachary Dooling (Jessica), Emily Dignam, Joseph Dignam and Sarah Dignam, and his grand nieces and nephews Dana Imwold, Ashley Imwold, Michael Imwold, Maya Abbott, Paige Abbott, Violet Abbott, Calvin Depew, August English, Nora English, Noah Dooling and Levi Dooling.
