Lieutenant Juan Rivera of Burlington Township, New Jersey.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska to Juan and Milagros Rivera, where he grew up around the world until his family moved to Pemberton New Jersey. Eldest of three sons, he became a corrections officer for the NJDOC, where he retired as a lieutenant.
He was a sports fanatic and a Philly fan through and through! He enjoyed cooking, fishing and football (GO BIRDS ! )BUT his favorite past time was always spending time with his grandson.
He will truly be missed and his survived by his wife Angie, his daughter Amabel, his grandson Zachary, his son-in-law Marques, his brothers Carlos and Jose, his sisters-in-law Jeannie and Yvette, brother-in-law Fiazan, his niece Alina, his nephew Marco.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be clebrated Friday, June 12, 2026, 10:30am at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro,NJ, Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday morning, 9am - 10am atthe Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway, Willingboro,NJ. (609)871-1000. Interment : Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt.Holly, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked if you would like to send a donation, kindly send one to either of the following :Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro,NJ, Christ our Light Church or School in Cherry Hill, NJ, or Children’s Hospital of Pthiladelphia, as these were places dear to Juan’s heart.
