Annie Lelinski-McAnally Obituary
Annie Lelinski-McAnally was a beloved and cherished mother, grand mother, and friend. She is survived by her daughter Bernadette, her many grand, great-grand, great-great grandchildren, and her sister Mary.
Annie loved her children deeply and welcomed her grandchildren with the same boundless love. Each year, she and Grandpop would scoop all the kids up and whisk them away down the shore. These summers together became some of our most treasured memories.
Grandma was solar powered. You could take the girl out of Hawaii, but never Hawaii out of the girl. Her warmth, laughter, and joy touched everyone around her.
She loved her family, her church family, her furry friends and a good hibachi buffet. Her faith was strong, and she never missed a chance to swaddle anyone she met in the comfort of Jesus’ love.
Though we miss her dearly, we find peace knowing she is reunited with Grandpop, Eddie, Gail, and Trisha—a joyful family reunion. When you feel the warmth of the sun, think of her shining down on us. As the word Aloha means both hello and goodbye, we say for now: Aloha, Grandma. Until we meet again.
