Caroline C. Birnbaum (Schweers) died Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Virtua Hospital, Willingboro, N.J.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Caroline was raised in Coney Island, NY.
She was the wife of Frank Birnbaum, a U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. who served during the Korean War and the Vietnam conflict.
Caroline was a homemaker and the heart of the family. The beautiful love, kindness and compassion that she graced us with will live on in our memories and be with us forever.
She is survived by her six children: Robert, Kenneth, Michael, William, Caroline Mehrer, and Paul; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 23,2025, 11am graveside at the Beverly National Cemetery, 916 Bridgeboro Road, Beverly,NJ.(215)504-5610. Interment of cremains will follow. Relatives and friends please meet directly at cemetery Monday morning.
