Obituary of Margaret M. Pezza

Margaret Marie Pezza of Willingboro, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday February 5, 2025 at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital.  She was 94 years old.  

Margaret was born in Clearfield, PA.  She enjoyed working and is a retired cafeteria attendant for the Willingboro School District.  A member of the Willingboro PTA, she spent many years volunteering in schools that her sons Anthony and Joe attended.  Marge was a room mother, worked the Bookmobile, went on school trips and is known for her italian meatballs and cooking for many school events.  She was an original member of Corpus Christi R.C. Church and was involved in many activities in the Parrish over many years.  A passionate Philadelphia Sports fan, and a dedicated former Eagles Season Ticket Holder that always enjoyed going to games.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Patsy Pezza for 60 years before his passing in March 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Ignazio and Mary (nee Pratt) Sorbera. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law  Anthony and Norma Pezza, and Joseph Pezza.  Two grandchildren Matthew and Benjamin Pezza.  Sister of the late Carmella Socie, Rose Seaber, Palma Sansone, Josephine Cordy, and Anthony Sorbera.  Survived by sister Evelyn McCartney and brothers Philip and Raymond Sorbera.  She had many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 12, 2025 10:30am at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ.  Relatives and friends may call Wednesday morning, 9:00am-10:00am at Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway, Willingboro, NJ. (609)871-1000. Interment : Brigadier General William Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.  In Lieu of Flowers due to cemetery restrictions, memorial donations can be made to Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ 08046 in her memory.
