Gloria Cordova Wyman passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 91 at her home in Willingboro, NJ. Ana “Gloria” was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to Bonifacia Otero and Nicasio Cordova on December 12, 1932. Gloria started her journey in Puerto Rico but also resided in Los Angeles and Philadelphia before settling in Willingboro NJ where she resided for 65 years. Her travels took her around the world, and she would drive her car to see friends and family all the time.
Gloria was a hardworking and independent woman who worked as a Packer and union shop steward at Curtis Young Corporation, a local paper company, from 1956 -1994. In her spare time, she was a championship archer with the NJ Devils breaking barriers in the 1960’s, tended to her garden, and stole the hearts of anyone who met her.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Maria L. Laboy, her grandchildren, Xylina M. Bilz, and Carlos M. Laboy, grandson Christian Barnes-Laboy, brother Jorge and sisters Ines, Belen, Gloria, Alicia, Petra, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Gloria is preceded in death by her mother Bonifacia, her husband Edward P. Wyman, her son Orlando Cordova, and her siblings Margarita, Justa, Luis, and Feliciano.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her celebration of life on Thursday, October 24, 2024, 9am - 10am at the Goes -Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway, Willingboro, NJ 08046. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 US-130, Burlington, NJ 08016.
