Raymond Burtcel

May 8, 1954 – September 3, 2024

Raymond Burtcel passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on May 8, 1954, Raymond was the son of Albert and Frances Burtcel, both of whom preceded him in death.

Raymond is survived by his devoted siblings: Joan Meiers, Dorothy Bagnell (late Kenneth Bagnell), and James Burtcel (Rita Burtcel). He was also preceded in death by his siblings Albert Burtcel (late Margaret Burtcel) and Barbara Schuler (Joseph Schuler). Raymond was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss his presence in their lives.

A proud alumnus of Trenton State College, Raymond worked diligently at A&P/Super Fresh while earning his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. His hard work and dedication led him to a successful career, eventually rising to the position of Store Manager. After retiring, Raymond found joy in spending time with his family and his beloved dogs: Sammy, Brutus, and Dollar.

Raymond will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to helping others, his deep love for his family, and his affection for his dogs. His kind spirit and joyful demeanor touched many lives, and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Funeral Services  will be held to celebrate Raymond’s life on Thursday, September 12, 2024 10am at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212  Veterans Parkway, Willingboro,NJ. (609)871-1000. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday morning 9am - 10am at the funeral home to share their memories and pay their respects. Interment : Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pa.
