Obituary of Nancy H. Cundiff

Nancy H. Cundiff of Burlington,NJ, formerly from Willingboro,NJ,passed away unexpectedly on March 24,2017 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly,NJ. Nancy was born in Sudbury, Ontario to the late Ivan Bowman and Louise Rossman. She graduated from Azizona State University in 1961 with a degree in Education. Nancy was married to Olin B. Cundiff II for 36 years until his death in 1998.She was a substitute teacher in the Willingboro Public School System for several years and then taught 5th grade at Corpus Christi School for 18 years until her retirement in 1998. In retirement,Nancy remained devoted to helping others. She was a member of Corpus Christi Seniors where she regularly volunteered to help the homeless in Philadelphia and served countless hours as a case evaluator for the local chapter of St.Vincent DePaul. Nancy's smile,compassion,and grace will be deeply missed by family,friends,students and everyone else that knew her. She is survived by three sons: Jeff (Heather), Gary (Trish) , Chris (Kelly),six grandchildren:Tommy,Abby,Brian,Missy,Matthew, Jack,and a brother : Jim Bowman. In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Joan Bowman and brother, Peter Bowman. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated ,Wednesday,10:30am, at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church ,11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro, N J. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday morning 9am – 10am at the Goes – Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy, Willingboro, NJ. Interment will be in Brig.Gen.W.C.Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
